Wine Club W02: Chile and Argentina Road Trip

Wine Club is a pay-as-you-go social group with no membership or subscription fees.

Just pay for the events you want to attend.

Our wine tasting is a fun and interactive event where you get to taste six wines selected around a theme.

Our first set of themes are:

• W01: The Unusual Suspects - Start the series with a tour off the beaten track, with wines from Lebanon, Slovenia, Austria x2, Greece and Romania
• W02: Chile and Argentina Road Trip: It’s not all about Malbec when it comes to South American wines, so here are some of the best of the rest (we couldn’t miss Malbec altogether, so there is one in there)
• W03: Don’t Judge A Book: Almost everyone considers the label when picking a wine, so we’ve done just that, and picked six very good wines that have unusual or interesting labels
• W04: All about Pinot: Gris, Grigio and Noir, come try some amazing Pinot
• W05: Amazing Portugal: Sample a selection of five wines and a stunning port from Portugal
• W06: Show me the money: Do dollars matter? We have two each of three pairs of wine (white, rosé and red), one costs c.£7, the other c.£27. Can you tell the difference and how rich are your tastes?

What’s included:

· Glass of bubbles or soft drink on arrival

· 6 x 75ml wine served in ISO tasting glasses

· Tasting notes and score sheet

· Glass charm

Additional to purchase:

· Fully licenced bar for beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, teas and coffees

This is a ‘small group’ event, and is limited to 10 people

Please note, this is not a course or lesson, rather a social event for wine lovers.
